Does it really only cost 3.75%? Yes! There is no trick where you end up paying 6% at closing. The total broker fee will not exceed
3.75%. I pay the other agent 2.5% and my firm keeps 1.25%. Nothing more to it.
Do other agents show your listings? Other agents sell
my listings 99% of the time. There are more than 6000 agents in the Triad. Very few of them have any listings and must sell the competition.
At any given time over 1/3 of all listings pay the other agent 2.5%. It is not an unusual amount and your listing will not stand out
as differently.
How can you charge only 3.75% when everyone else seems to charge 6%?
There are high overheads associated with
big firms. Large offices, staffs and ineffective print ads drive up costs which have to be passed on to you. I have low over head,
efficient marketing and a focus on the bottom line.
